We have now stood up a wholly owned, and US operated business, Quantum-Systems Inc, in the United States.
This business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America.
As a result of this expansion, we have a Program Manager opening for a customer facing candidate who will communicate directly with customers and be the primary POC for contracts.
The Program Manager is responsible for the execution of company programs including schedule, cost, and performance.
The program manager will be the direct point of contact to the external customer, oversee the program life cycle, and will be the point of contact for all associated activities necessary to meet both company and customer objectives and targets.
Areas of Responsibility:
Customer facing and primary POC for government contracts.
Working with and managing government customers and contracts.
Ensures customer alignment and manages overall customer satisfaction.
Interfaces effectively with internal teams as well as external customers.
Management of the program throughout the program's life cycle.
Analyzes contract requirements and works closely with contracting staff to provide suitable, timely and accurate input for contract and subcontract language.
Review / develop requirements for major subcontractor scope, reporting requirements, and schedule integration.
Understands and performs Schedule Risk & Opportunity Analysis.
Coordinates and aligns project teams and their inter-dependencies, managing program priorities.
Communicates clearly and removes barriers to execution.
Develops and maintains program plans including budget, Estimate at Completion (EAC), and resource allocation.
Presents program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business related field required, PMP Certification is a plus Minimum 5 years of experience in Program Management Proven track record of running multiple, successful external facing projects Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts, and Engineering Working knowledge or experience in the development and application of integrated master plan and schedule, Risk and Opportunity management, closed loop corrective actions, configuration control and financial reporting Deep knowledge of Project Management methods, tools, and processes Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Some travel may be required (up to 10%) Experienced in a highly technical environment preferred, but not required Job Type:
