This position is responsible for supporting a regional operations team in all employment-related matters.
This is a hybrid position.
You will be expected to work in the office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to managers and employees in relation to company policies and benefits, absence and health issues, conduct and performance, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
Conduct thoughtful, thorough, and objective investigations of complaints brought forward by employees; prepare investigation summaries and resolution letters, make recommendations to upper management.
Prepare corrective action and performance improvement documents.
Process and record employment changes include position and wage changes, location reassignments, personal information updates and employment status changes.
HR administrative tasks such as system updates, garnishments and verifications of employment.
Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the employee experience and efficiency of the HR department.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be able to travel on occasion.
Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field 3
years HR experience and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness Conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational, conflict management, and problem-solving skills Advanced knowledge of Google suite, Excel and other MS Office programs, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
